What an amazing day! Jess gave birth to our daughter Maya Claire today at 10:41 via a c-section. Everything went better than planned, smooth as Maya’s cute little ass. She’s gorgeous, perfectly healthy, and a hefty 8.3lbs. She’s 21 inches long. Everyone is happy and healthy.

Talk about another surreal moment in lfe… First when Josh was born last May, and now Maya being born. Such a blessing. Everyone is exhausted, especially Mommy.

How did this year go by so quick? Joshua will turn 11 months old tomorrow. He is such a big boy and does so much cool stuff but I still think of him as my little baby boy swaddled in a receiving blanket. I can not believe how big he is and how much he has grown this year. We are so excited to share everything with him. Absolutely everything. Through all of the colds, runny noses, ear infections, throwing up, trying new foods, crawling, walking, and laughing his butt off, this has been the absolute best year because we have been able to share everything with Josh. We talk about it all the time - how it was never a coincidence that we were so blessed to have this amazing human being become our son. It was always the plan and based on decisions we made as a couple , we became a family. It always gives me the chills.

So, Happy 11th Month Birthday Baby - Mommy and Daddy love you with all of our hearts!

Not like I’m going nuts excited or anything, but in case you wanted to know when my princess is coming…

Now we can all be aware!

Joshua turned 10 months old on March 20. We had some problems with the site and I am just catching up now on all of the updating. You wouldn’t believe me if I told you but Joshua is walking. Totally walking. Everywhere. It is so crazy to see this little amazing person walking all over the house. He is so cool. We bought him his first pair of shoes at Stride Rite last week and they are the cutest things ever. He is babbling and singing all of the time and is just the happiest baby in the world. He is all about mommy’s belly and he knows his sister is in there! He is always sticking his fingers in my belly button and giving my belly hugs and kisses. Oh yes! Hugs and kisses! He gives everyone hugs and big open mouth juicy wet kisses. He is such a sweet love bug. His hair continues to grow like a weed and it is almost about time for his second haircut. We are in the process of preparing for his 1st birthday party. Since he is way to young to pick a theme and shows no interest at all, we are sticking with bright and fun primary colors for everything, it is going to be great.

In Maya news, we are having a C Section on April 27, 2006 at 10am. What a great day for Maya’s birthday. We are all very excited for this day. Josh is the most excited.
